Synopsis
In the 1920s, during the White Terror period, the city is under full lockdown. Li Yimin (played by Roy Wang) is entrusted with a critical mission at a perilous moment: to secretly escort an important figure out of the city alone. However, the organization has been severely compromised, leaving him isolated and struggling at every turn. Determined to seek help covertly, Li Yimin encounters former acquaintances who have long since embarked on different paths: his teacher Hou Shaolie (Li Chen), fellow worker Zhang Guisheng (Yin Xiaotian), former classmates Ding Menghua (Zhang Xueying), Xu Tianping (Liang Jingkang), Jiang Yue (Ci Sha), Luo Shiwen (Zhai Xiaowen), and Zhou Wensu (Li Jiaxin). Who among them can be trusted to join him on this dangerous journey?
The "Burning Star Team" reunites, believing their meticulously planned evacuation is foolproof. Yet unbeknownst to them, the enemy's intricate trap has already been set. With time running out and the moment of evacuation imminent, they face a desperate choice: reserving the last bullet for themselves. Can they still seize a glimmer of hope?
