Synopsis
The film is adapted from Jin Yong's novel *The Smiling, Proud Wanderer*. It tells the story of Linghu Chong (played by Huang Xiyan), who seeks to withdraw from the martial world but is forced into the conflict between righteousness and evil. He unexpectedly meets Dongfang Bubai (played by Zhang Yuqi), the leader of the demon cult, and the two embark on a tumultuous journey through the treacherous martial world together.
